Lucas #302 Asphalt Roof Coating Non-Fibrated is a brushable coating of refined higher-softening-point asphalt and petroleum solvents for re-coating and preserving smooth-surface asphalt and built-up roofs; the data sheet states it is not for coal tar pitch and gravel roofs. It is applied at about 1 to 2 gallons per 100 sq. ft. Typical properties printed are 73% solids by weight, 72% by volume and 73% asphalt content. It is black, sold in 5 gallon containers, and the data sheet states it is Florida Building Code approved. The printed product warranty is one year from the date of purchase.
