Lucas #1044 SunScreen is a water-based acrylic elastomeric roof coating for metal, concrete, EPDM, Elvaloy/PVC, polyurethane foam, asphalt BUR and granule-surfaced roofs. It is applied in two coats at 1.25 to 1.5 gallons per 100 sq. ft., and can be used with polyester fabric for a fully reinforced system. Typical properties printed are 61% solids by weight, 50% by volume, 350% elongation, initial reflectance 0.84, aged reflectance 0.72, emissivity 0.89 and SRI 105, and the data sheet states it meets the Urban Heat Islands provision of the Chicago Energy Code. It comes in 5, 55 and 275 gallon containers in white, gray and tan. The printed product warranty is one year from the date of purchase.
