Lucas #1019 Rust Primer Water-Based is a 100% acrylic corrosion-inhibiting primer for preparing rusty metal roofs and walls before Lucas acrylic and silicone coatings, formulated to a thin viscosity and low surface tension to penetrate and encapsulate surface rust. Typical properties printed are 47% solids by weight, 38% by volume and VOC under 25 g/l. It is yellow, darkening to amber as it dries, and sold in 5 gallon containers. The printed product warranty is one year from the date of purchase.
