LP TechShield is OSB roof sheathing with a thin aluminum-based radiant barrier overlay, installed like ordinary roof sheathing; LP says it blocks radiant heat from the roof panel and cuts attic temperatures by up to 30 degrees F, and that it has gone into more than 2 million homes. The panels are incised after lamination (LP VaporVents) so trapped moisture can dry out, and the page lists it as a RIMA verified product (US-009-50). The September 2025 sales sheet backs it with a 20-year limited warranty.
