Master One Steppers are #12-11 thermal expansion fasteners with sharp piercing points for attaching panels to wood framing; Leland states the design self-drills an expansion hole, centres the screw in it and lets the installed panel float so it does not crack from expansion and contraction. They come with hex washer or low-profile pancake heads in lengths from 1-1/4 in. to 2-1/2 in., assembled with 14 mm aluminum-backed Master Seal cushioning washers, and are listed for FRP, PVC, fluted, corrugated polycarbonate and fibre cement panels. Carbon steel versions are salt spray tested per ASTM B117, and 304 and 410 stainless versions are offered.
