Master Grippers are metal-panel-to-wood screws with a high hex washer head and a sharp twin lead thread that Leland says pierces and threads multiple laps of high tensile light gauge steel up to 26 gauge, for fastening roof or wall panels to wood girts and purlins, including residential steel roof panels. They are assembled with Master Seal flow cone grey EPDM washers, offered in #10, #12 and #14 diameters with heavy-duty #18 and #24 versions unassembled, and a low-profile pancake head version fastens standing seam roof clips and hidden-fastener panels. Leland offers them powder coated in over 100 colours and states that impact tools void its paint warranty.
