Kool Seal Storm Patch Asphalt Patch & Coat (KS0081100) is a black, water-based asphalt patching cement that can be brushed on for patching or rolled to coat roofs. Its product data sheet lists 47% volume solids, 49% weight solids and 0 g/L VOC, and a 30-day wait before top-coating with elastomeric or aluminum coatings. Listed uses are asphaltic surfaces, rolled roofing, metal, slate, asphalt and fiberglass shingles, chimney and pipe flashings, gutters and composition roofs; it is not to be used as a coating on asphalt shingles. It is sold in a 10 fl oz cartridge and a 1-gallon size.
