Kool Seal Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating (KS0024300) is an economy-grade, asphalt-based, fiber-reinforced aluminum roof coating with a reflective silver finish. Its product data sheet lists 45% volume solids, 55% weight solids and VOC under 500 g/L, calls for two coats at 50-100 sq ft per gallon per coat, and lists metal, aged aluminum coatings, rolled roofing, asphalt BUR and modified bitumen as substrates; it is not for use on asphalt shingles. It is sold in 1-gallon and 5-gallon sizes.
