Kool Seal Elastomeric Finish Coat 5 Year is an economy-grade, 100 percent acrylic white elastomeric roof coating that reflects heat and UV, for metal, single-ply, smooth BUR, modified bitumen, polyurethane foam, concrete and existing asphaltic and elastomeric coatings, and not for use on shingles. Its product data sheet (KS0063000) gives 32 percent volume solids and 46 percent weight solids and a VOC under 50 g/L, and recommends two coats at 50 to 100 square feet per gallon over Kool Seal Elastomeric Base Coat Gray. It carries a 5-year warranty.
