KingRib is an insulated trapezoidal roof panel system from Kingspan Insulated Panels, a one-piece panel with a foamed-in-place PIR insulation core between exterior and interior faces, offered in the KingRib 3 and KingRib 5 exterior rib profiles. Panels are 40 inches wide, 1.5, 2.5, 4, 5 or 6 inches thick and 8 to 50 feet long, with 26, 24 or 22 gauge faces, and sealant is applied at the overlapping side joint. The data sheet lists use on roof slopes as low as 1/2:12 (1:12 where endlaps are required) and R-values of 10.7 to 42.6 per ASTM C518 at 75 degrees F. It lists FM 4880 Class 1 fire, FM 4471 Class 1-60 wind uplift (RoofNav assembly 222746-0-0, 2.5 to 6 inch panels), ULC-S126, ULC-S138, ASTM E1592, ASTM E1680 and ASTM E1646 results. Kingspan states a 2-year standard material and workmanship warranty and up to 20 years standard finish warranty.
