Kennedy's deck-mounted fixed glass skylight, with a powder-coated .062 in. extruded aluminum sash with welded corners, an integrated 4 in. pre- drilled flange, a condensation gutter and a pre-finished white poplar interior on a 2, 4 or 6 in. curb (for minimum roof pitches of 3:12, 2:12 and 0:12). It comes in 10 standard sizes with tempered LoE-240 argon- filled glass (TSFG) or high-impact hurricane-rated glass (ISFG), plus the MD-ISFG model, which Kennedy says holds Miami-Dade NOA #25-0718.01 for all HVHZ zones with a design pressure rating of +/-60 psf and large missile impact, and replacement sashes. Kennedy's Florida Building Code page lists its glass and polycarbonate skylights under approval #FL15592-R8. The page gives a 25-year non-prorated limited warranty on the insulated glass against seal failure and 10 years against defects in workmanship and materials, while Kennedy's home page speaks of a limited lifetime warranty on all its products; the two statements disagree.
