Kennedy's roof-mounted solar attic fans for shingle, shake, metal and tile roofs, with a seamless 1100 series aluminum housing and flashing powder- coated inside and out, a DC motor in an isolation bracket, a five-wing aluminum blade, a stainless steel animal screen and PERC-cell solar panels. The adjustable or remote panel models are the SAF32 (up to 1,560 cfm, 2,200 sq ft), SAF48 (up to 1,881 cfm, 2,825 sq ft) and SAF65-Remote (up to 2,105 cfm, 3,350 sq ft); the fixed-panel SAF35LP ultra low profile and SAF35TP tile profile, whose housing sits 3 in. higher for S-tile, move up to 1,599 cfm for 2,400 sq ft. Finishes are gloss bronze, black satin or mill. Kennedy calls the fans hurricane approved after large missile impact testing and cites Florida Building Code approval #FL13509-R8. Accessories include a garage exhaust kit, thermal snap and fire safety switches, a turret extension and a tile flashing skirt. Kennedy gives the fans a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
