KEMPERTEC 1K AQUA RI Primer is a single-component, water-based acrylic rust-inhibiting primer used between metal substrates and KEMPEROL 1K AQUA Hybrid Elastomeric Coating. The data sheet describes it for metal surfaces including iron and steel where corrosion is a problem, drying to a red finish. It is applied at about 300 square feet per gallon, is supplied in 5-gallon pails, and has a VOC content below 100 g/L.
