KEMPEROL SBS Cap SA is a 3.0 mm (120 mil) self-adhered, granule-surfaced SBS modified bitumen cap sheet reinforced with a fiberglass mat, with white as the standard granule color and a proprietary self-adhesive compound on the bottom surface. It comes in 1.0-square rolls and is applied without torches, hot asphalt or bonding adhesives. The data sheet describes it as the top layer of a multi-ply assembly or beneath the KEMPEROL cold liquid-applied membrane system, with details and flashings done in KEMPEROL liquid-applied membrane, and lists ASTM D7530.
