Karnak 98 Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating is made of selected asphalts and pure aluminum flake pigment with refined solvents and reinforcing fibers for heavy duty service. The maker lists it for modified bitumen membranes, corrugated metal decks, steep asphalt roofs aged 90 days and cured Karnak emulsion coatings. Its product page lists ASTM D2824 Type III, TT-C-498C, ASTM D3805 and ASTM D962 Type II, an SRI of 62 initial and 52 three-year aged, and carries the words UL Class A Rated without naming the test standard or assembly.
