Karnak 560 KARNA-Bond is a line of self-sealing tapes of non-curing rubber sealant with a built-in primer, offered as tri-layer TPO-reinforced film tapes in white, black or silver, a fleece-faced tape that accepts coatings, and a double-sided tape. The maker lists them for sealing seams, flashing curbs and repairs on metal and single-ply roofs, including EPDM, Hypalon, PVC and TPO, and states they are not intended for asphaltic surfaces. Its product page lists thicknesses of 30 mils (double-sided and fleece) and 20 mils (film tapes) and 90 degree peel adhesion of 17 lbs by ASTM D1000. Fleece and white tapes are sold in 4, 6 and 12 inch by 50 foot rolls.
