Karnak 529 Renu-White is an economical polymer acrylic elastomeric white roof coating that the maker recommends for re-coating existing acrylic-coated roofs, as well as aged BUR, modified bitumen and other substrates over Karnak base coats, applied in two coats at 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet. Its product data sheet lists ASTM D 6083 Type II and reports 63 percent solids by weight and 50 percent by volume, 450 percent elongation, 140 psi tensile strength, an initial solar reflectance of 0.85 and an initial SRI of 107.
