Karnak 405 Bond-N-Shield is an elastomeric acrylic co-polymer emulsion base coat with stain blockers to prevent asphalt bleed-through. The maker lists it under its acrylic and silicone topcoats on built-up roofs aged 90 days and SBS and APP modified membranes weathered 30 days. It is light blue, sold in 275 gallon totes, 55 gallon drums and 5 gallon pails, with a listed VOC of 45 g/L maximum.
