The maker lists it as a base coat on new and lightly rusted metal roofs before 501 Elasto-Brite or 529 Renu-White topcoats, and states new metal must age 30 days first. It is light gray, sold in 275 gallon totes, 55 gallon drums and 5 gallon pails, with a listed VOC of 22 g/L maximum.
