Karnak 3036 Poly-Mat is a stitch bonded polyester reinforcing fabric used with cold roofing mastics and liquid elastomerics. The maker lists it in place of felts and fiberglass as reinforcement on smooth surfaces such as built-up, modified bitumen and concrete roofs. It weighs 2.9 oz per square yard, with tensile strength of 41 lbs by ASTM D1682, and is sold in rolls 180 feet long in 40, 12, 6 and 4 inch widths.
