TopGard Base Coat is a one-part, buff-coloured acrylic elastomeric base coating applied over smooth and mineral-surfaced asphalt-based roofing and single ply before a TopGard top coat, providing bleed blocking over hot asphalt, asphalt emulsion and modified bitumen systems. The data sheet (RS-2128, 1-19) lists 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and 275 gallon totes, coverage of 65 to 100 square feet per gallon on smooth surfaces, physical properties tested to ASTM D6083, and application at 50 degrees F and rising.
