TopGard 5000 is a one-part, 100 percent acrylic elastomeric roof coating used as a reflective top coat over smooth or mineral-surfaced asphalt-based systems, single ply and metal roofs, described as suited to climates that drop below 0 degrees F. The data sheet (RS-2130, 5-21) says it meets ASTM D6083, lists white, tan and safety yellow, and gives white an initial solar reflectance index of 104 (91 after 3 years), with 60 percent solids by volume.
