SA Primer is a one-part, red, specification-grade penetrating primer that improves adhesion of self-adhering membranes on approved substrates including gypsum, concrete and fiber cement. The data sheet (RS-2076, 6-17) prints a VOC of 500 g/l, 24 percent solids by weight, 5 gallon pails and application between 14 and 100 degrees F. A low-VOC version, SA Primer Low VOC, has its own data sheet (RS-2077, 10-23) with a VOC under 10 g/l.
