PermaPly 28 is a lightweight, asphalt-coated fiberglass base sheet with a fine mineral parting agent, designed as the first or base sheet in built-up or modified bitumen roof assemblies and suited to mechanical attachment; it may also serve as an intermediate ply in cold-applied assemblies. The data sheet (RS-2016, 8-14) says it meets ASTM D4601 Type II and prints a 36-inch by 106-foot roll weighing 67 lb and covering 300 square feet net. It lists a system-dependent Peak Advantage guarantee of up to 30 years.
