MBR Utility Cement is a one-part, black, asphalt-based trowel-grade mastic used in place of asphalt and MBR Flashing Cement in JM modified bitumen flashing details and to adhere modified bitumen flashings and built-up roofing felts to vertical surfaces. The data sheet (RS-4168, 9-23) says it meets ASTM D4586 Type I and gives a VOC under 250 g/l, 5 gallon pails and application between 40 and 100 degrees F, with a winter grade recommended below 60 degrees F.
