GlasTite Flexible is an asphalt sheet on a fiber glass and polyester composite reinforcement mat with a fine mineral parting agent, intended as a base sheet, ply sheet or flashing membrane in built-up roofing systems. The data sheet (RS-2025, 7-16) prints a 36 inch by 50 foot roll covering 150 square feet at 64.5 lb, and says that when used as a flashing it must be coated and may be set in hot asphalt or JM roof cements in three- or five-course base flashing systems. It meets ASTM D4601 Type II. It lists a system-dependent Peak Advantage guarantee of up to 30 years.
