DynaKap T1 is a fiber glass and polyester-reinforced SBS modified bitumen cap or flashing sheet surfaced with ceramic-coated granules that may be installed in Type IV asphalt or an approved JM adhesive. The data sheet (RS-4916, 3-21) says it meets ASTM D6162 Type I Grade G and prints a thickness of 157 mil and a roll about 1 m wide by 10 m long covering 95.8 square feet at 105 lb, made in South Gate, California, Macon, Georgia and Plattsburgh, New York. It comes in white, with an initial solar reflectance index of 29 (26 aged). It lists a Peak Advantage guarantee of up to 30 years in most 2 to 5 ply JM SBS systems.
