DynaKap FR T1 is a fire-retardant SBS modified bitumen cap or flashing sheet reinforced with a combined fiberglass and polyester mat and surfaced with ceramic-coated granules, used in multi-ply JM SBS systems. The data sheet (RS-4917, 3-21) says it meets ASTM D6162 Type 1 Grade G, that its blend contains additional fire-retardant additives, prints a 105 lb roll covering 95.8 square feet, colours of white, black and shakewood tan, and a white-granule solar reflectance index of 29 (26 aged), made in South Gate, California, Macon, Georgia and Plattsburgh, New York. It lists a Peak Advantage guarantee of up to 30 years in most 2 to 5 ply JM SBS systems.
