DynaFlex is a fiber glass and polyester-reinforced SBS modified bitumen mineral- surfaced cap flashing membrane for multi-ply roofing systems that may be installed in Type IV asphalt or an approved JM adhesive. The data sheet (RS-4112, 3-21) says it meets or exceeds ASTM D6221 Type I and prints a thickness of 152 mil and a 36 inch by 25 foot roll covering 75 square feet at 81 lb, made in South Gate, California, Macon, Georgia and Plattsburgh, New York. It comes in white or black, with an initial solar reflectance index of 29 (26 aged) for the standard white granule. It lists a Peak Advantage guarantee of up to 30 years in most 2 to 5 ply JM SBS systems.
