DynaClad is a fiber glass-reinforced SBS modified bitumen cap or flashing sheet surfaced with aluminum foil, used in multi-ply roofing systems and installed in Type IV asphalt, an approved JM adhesive or by heat welding. The data sheet (RS-4116, 12-20) says it meets or exceeds ASTM D6298, prints a thickness of 145 mil and a roll about 1 m wide by 10 m long covering 95.8 square feet at 100 lb, and gives an initial solar reflectance index of 91. It lists a Peak Advantage guarantee of up to 30 years in most 2 to 5 ply JM SBS systems.
