JM Asphalt Emulsion Roof Coating is a one-part, black, asphalt-based clay emulsion roof coating used as a protective coating over built-up, SBS and APP modified bitumen roofs and approved metal, concrete and wood substrates. The data sheet (RS-2066, 5-15) says it meets ASTM D1227 Type II Class 1, lists 4.75 gallon pails, coverage of 3 to 4 gallons per 100 square feet, a maximum VOC of 20 g/l, and application at 45 degrees F and rising without thinning.
