APPeX 4.5M is a polyester-reinforced APP modified bitumen cap or flashing sheet with ceramic-coated granules and a polyolefin burn-off film for heat welding, used in APP multi-ply systems. The data sheet (RS-4302, 9-23) says it meets ASTM D6222 Type I Grade G, that UL Class A ratings may be obtained in numerous new and re-roof constructions at slopes up to 1 inch per foot, and prints a 112 lb roll covering 95.8 square feet, a solar reflectance index of 25, and eleven granule colours from white and black to terra cotta, slate and weathered wood; it is made in South Gate, California, Macon, Georgia and Plattsburgh, New York. It lists a system-dependent Peak Advantage guarantee of up to 20 years.
