Palisade Butyl-HT is a high-temperature self-adhered underlayment for steep-slope roofs with the Stronghold skid-resistant top surface, a butyl-modified bitumen adhesive and a release liner, for use under metal, asphalt and synthetic shingles, primed cedar shakes, slate and tiles. The product page states a 265 F temperature rating and up to six months of UV exposure. The data sheet prints a 40 mil thickness and a blue/black colour, and reports passing results to ASTM D1970 test methods for unroll-ability, tensile load, tear resistance, adhesion to plywood, thermal stability, low-temperature flexibility, sealability around nails and lap-seam integrity, plus liquid water transmission to ICC-ES AC188. The data sheet prints no warranty term.
