NovaSeal PRO is a mechanically attached synthetic roof underlayment of woven polypropylene with a slip-resistant non-woven top surface, for use under asphalt and synthetic shingles, metal in residential applications and primed cedar shakes. The data sheet prints a 6.8 mil thickness, a grey/grey colour, 48-inch by 250-foot rolls at 18 lb per roll, and a 145 psi Mullen burst; the product page claims UV protection for up to 90 days. The data sheet lists ICC-ES AC188 (CCRR-1105), ASTM D8257, ASTM D4869 Types I through IV, ASTM D226 Type II, a Class A fire resistance rating to ASTM E108, Texas Department of Insurance, Florida Building Code approval FL26367 and Miami-Dade County product control approval. The product page lists ASTM D226 Types I and II where the data sheet names Type II only.
