Interlock Metal Slate Roofing replicates quarried natural slate in a 0.019 in. 3105-H24 aluminum panel (17 5/8 in. x 9 in. face) at approximately 41 lb per square, roughly 7x lighter than natural slate. Per the manufacturer's own product page it is rated UL 2218 Class 4 for hail, warranted to 120 mph wind, finished with the AAMA 2605 Alunar PVDF coating, and carries ICC-ES ESR-1790, Florida Product Approval FL7263-R7 and CCMC 10475-R; an ASTM E108 Class A fire-rated assembly is available. It installs on 3:12-or-greater slopes with ice and water protection.
