AldoSil 390 is a moisture-curing, high-solids silicone used to smooth and level roof surfaces too rough for a coating to go on directly, such as gravel-surfaced built-up roofs, alligatored asphalt roofs and concrete, as a base layer for further coats of silicone roof coating. Its technical data sheet lists 95.6 percent solids by weight (ASTM D1644) and by volume (ASTM D2697), VOC under 50 g/L and red as the standard colour, and says it is not intended for gravel BUR with moderate or heavy foot traffic.
