Western Red Cedar tapersawn shakes, sawn on both sides, from Imperial Shake's Maple Ridge, British Columbia mill. The technical data sheet lists Premium, Number 1, Number 2 and Number 3 grades, 18 and 24 in. lengths, 5/8 in. Medium, 3/4 in. Heavy and 7/8 and 1 in. Jumbo minimum butt thicknesses, random widths from 4 in. (3 in. on Number 2 and 3 Grade) with no maximum, bundles of 20 sq. ft. (five to a square), a 4:12 minimum roof pitch, and maximum roof exposures of 7 1/2 in. and 10 in. for Premium and Number 1 at 18 and 24 in. They can be kiln dried, CCA treated, or fire treated to Class B or C.
