ZIP-RIB is a structural, mechanically seamed standing seam roof panel with a 2-1/2 in. rib, in 12, 16 and 18 in. nominal coverage (wider to 22 in. on inquiry), for slopes of 1/4 in. per foot or more over open purlins, re-roof framing, plywood or metal deck, and usable as a wall panel. It is roll-formed in the factory or on site in aluminum, galvanized steel, stainless steel, copper or zinc, can be tapered or curved, and has been run in continuous lengths over 460 feet. It is the Merchant & Evans system IMETCO relaunched in 2021. The page also claims UL-90 uplift, a UL Class A listing, Factory Mutual, Dade County and Florida Building Code approval without printing the approval numbers, and lists a 20-year Kynar 500 finish warranty and watertight warranties for qualified applications.
