Heat welded SBS modified bitumen base sheet on an inorganic non-woven glass fiber mat. It is offered as TF-95-FF-Base, with micro-perforated film on both faces, listed at 3.0 mm (118 mils) in 1,000 mm x 10 m rolls, and TF-95-SF-Base, with a sanded top for mopped or cold-adhered cap sheets, listed at 2.2 mm (87 mils) in 1,000 mm x 15 m rolls; IKO also lists a 3.0 mm SF version. IKO says the SF version can also be used as a vapour retarder. It serves as the lay-flat base sheet in a layered membrane system.
