Heat welded fire-resistant SBS modified bitumen cap sheet on a non-woven polyester mat strengthened with glass fiber strands, with expandable graphite added above the reinforcement. It has a ceramic granule surface and a micro-perforated film underside that disappears during heat welding. The data sheet lists 4.0 mm (158 mils) in 1,005 mm x 8 m rolls and states the sheet qualifies for a Class A rating in select UL systems under CAN/ULC S107M and UL 790 test protocols. It is used as a BUR cap, the top ply of a two-ply Torchflex system, or a flashing top ply.
