Fully adhered SBS modified bitumen base sheet on a non-woven polyester mat strengthened with glass fiber strands, installed in mopping asphalt or an IKO-approved cold process adhesive. It is offered as MP-180-FS-Base, with a micro-perforated film top and sanded underside at 2.2 mm (87 mils), and MP-180-SS-Base, sanded on both sides at 2.5 mm (98 mils) for heat-sensitive substrates; IKO also lists 3.0 mm versions of both. Rolls are 1,005 mm x 15 m with a 90 mm (3.5 in) selvage. It serves as the lay-flat base sheet in a layered membrane system.
