GoldShield is IKO's premium self-adhered ice and water protection membrane of surface-film-reinforced polymer-modified bitumen with a silicone-treated release sheet, used under shingles at ice-dam areas and around vent stacks, dormers and other roof-top structures. The March 2026 data sheet gives a 36 in. x 66.7 ft. roll (200 sq. ft.), 40 mils thick with a 3 in. selvage film, and an ASTM E108 Class A fire test result that applies when it is installed with a Class A asphalt shingle over a minimum 3/8 in. plywood or OSB deck; its HVHZ approval applies to product sold in the southeast U.S.
