Mechanically fastened SBS modified bitumen base sheet with a dual release selvage carrying an adhesive SBS coating for self-adhered lap seams, a micro-perforated film top that disappears when the cap sheet is heat welded, and a sanded underside. It is offered as Fast-N-Stick 180-Base, on a non-woven polyester mat strengthened with glass fiber strands, and Fast-N-Stick HD-Base, on a composite polyester and glass scrim reinforcement. Both data sheets list 2.5 mm (98 mils) in 1,005 mm x 15 m rolls. It is the base sheet of the Fast-N-Weld system.
