Wakefield Bridge
Wakefield Bridge is a press-formed steel shingle panel from Ideal Roofing, made at its Brampton, Ontario plant, with a stucco-like textured finish; each 14 by 39-3/8 inch panel resembles four shingles and installs at a 12 by 38-7/8 inch exposure. It is made in 29 and 26 gauge Galvalume (ASTM A792 Grade 33) steel with a PVDF Kynar 500 paint system, in about 18 colours with published SRI values from 26 to 72 depending on colour. The product page states Class A fire resistance (ASTM E108); ICC-ES report ESR-3101 (December 2023 reissue, subject to renewal November 2024) lists it as a Class A metal shingle covering when installed over GAF VersaShield fire-resistant underlayment (one layer at 26 gauge, two at 29 gauge) on solid sheathing. Ideal Roofing publishes a limited 50-year transferable warranty against perforation of the steel substrate, with a 40-year paint film term, for roofs of at least 4/12 pitch.
