Utility is an exposed-fastener steel roofing and siding panel from Ideal Roofing with four 1-1/2 inch high ribs on 13.125 inch centres and 39.375 inch coverage, cut to lengths up to 40 feet, for steel or wood structures on commercial and industrial buildings. The maker states that in 26 gauge it can be installed over purlins at 48 inch centres in most of eastern Canada and the northeastern United States; a reversed version is for siding only. It is offered in galvanized steel (ASTM A653 SS Grade 33, G90) from 26 to 20 gauge, Galvalume Plus (ASTM A792 SS Grade 33, AZ180) and pre- painted steel from 26 to 22 gauge.
