Monteciano is a Mediterranean-style steel roofing tile from Ideal Roofing, press-formed in a barrel-vault shape into panels 63.5 inches wide by 12.5 inches long. It is made from 29 gauge (.017 inch) pre-painted Galvalume steel (ASTM A792 SS Grade 33) with a PVDF Kynar 500 paint system, and Ideal Roofing publishes SRI values from 26 to 54 for the rated colours. The maker describes it as about 60 percent lighter than asphalt shingles and offers it with a limited 50-year transferable warranty.
