IBARRIER XP SA Membrane is a 10-mil, non-asphaltic, high-temperature self-adhesive air and vapor barrier made of a white polypropylene film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a single siliconized release film, for roof slopes of 1/4 inch per foot and up on commercial and residential projects. The technical data sheet says it installs from 20 degrees F and rising, generally needs no primer except in high wind zones, may be left exposed for up to 180 days, and can double as a separation sheet between incompatible vertical surfaces. It prints water vapor transmission of 0.0173 perms by ASTM E96, passes ASTM D1970 nail sealability, gives ASTM E84 flame spread and smoke development of 5 and 15, and says it is listed in component assemblies with UL, FM Approvals and Florida Building Code product approvals. Rolls are 5 by 100 feet.
