IBARRIER SA 106 is a 106-mil self-adhesive membrane with a polyester mat saturated and coated on both sides with SBS polymer-modified bitumen and a high-tack adhesive, a sanded top surface and a single silicone release film on the underside. IB describes it as a self-sealing air barrier and vapor retarder for wood, steel, structural concrete and gypsum decks and gypsum cover boards rated for adhered applications. The TDS states it meets or exceeds ASTM D6164 Type I Grade S and may be left exposed for up to 90 days.
