IB PMMA Liquid Flashing Resin is a two-part polymethyl methacrylate flashing system: the resin is mixed with IB PMMA Catalyst Gel and applied as a base coat and top coat with IB PMMA Fleece embedded between them, to seal penetrations and low-profile roof transitions where prefabricated PVC flashings are not used. The technical data sheet gives minimum total thicknesses of 90 mils on smooth and 110 mils on rough or porous surfaces, an application range of 20 to 100 degrees F with catalyst dosed by temperature, a pot life of about 12 to 18 minutes and rainproofing in over 30 minutes at 68 degrees F, a 12-month shelf life, and 10 kg pails in white, gray and tan. It lists 10 to 30 year total system warranty options when installed by IB authorized applicators.
