Bond-It #SR1220 is a water-based, clear sealer and bonding primer that goes on milky white and dries clear, for use on plaster, masonry, roof shingles and other roofing materials before top coating. Hy-Tech recommends it under its roof coatings and specifies it beneath Roof Guard on wood, concrete, clay tile and chalking painted surfaces. One coat is applied by brush, roller or spray at about 200-250 sq ft per gallon on smooth surfaces and 150-200 on rough surfaces, with 2-3 hours drying before top coating; it is sold in 1-gallon cans and 5-gallon pails.
